Yesterday Dr Jack Killalea finished up working with us at Tallangatta and Kiewa Veterinary Clinics. Jack has been a welcome asset to our clinic for the past 18months. He joined the team to cover Meika's maternity leave (when Toby arrived in 2017) and extended his stay because he loved the region, his position here and wanted a taste of local AFL footy playing for the Albury Tigers this season. Jack has spend plenty of time on farm and in both clinics, sharing his knowledge and skills and has made a huge impact on clients and staff alike.
Jack is heading overseas to travel and experience working in the UK as a vet, along with his girlfriend Dani. We will miss his dedication, humour and skills in the clinics; but wish them all the best for their travels and adventures. Thanks to Jack and Dani both for there big impact at T&KVC's, you'll be missed.
Meika will be increasing her work days in the clinic to replace Jack (a hard task!) until a permanent new vet member can join the crew (watch this space). Meika's return will be short term because Joe and Meika are expecting baby #2 in March 2019! But in the mean time, along with Verity, Lauren and Joe, we aim to continue to support you, your farm and pets through a (hopefully) prosperous Spring!"
